Veterinarian: FT/PT

Responsibilities: - Provide medical care and treatment to a variety of animals, including dogs and cats. - Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and surgeries - Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries - Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results - Prescribe medications and administer treatments - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients - Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care.

Experience:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school- Proficient in dog handling and animal restraint techniques- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.

  • Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine

  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff members

  • DEA License or eligibility, state and federal Skills: - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

We have a full-service Veterinary Clinic that offers affordable, low-cost services to clientele, as well as spay/neuter services to area rescues and shelters. Our mission is to keep care affordable to clientele to reduce the number of animals being surrendered to shelters and rescues while providing care to those organizations that are intaking homeless and injured animals.
